Lyyrah is the primary planetoid in a binary star system in the Essica Star Cluster. The primary star in the cluster is a metal-rich star generating energy through core hydrogen fusion.
Although a difficult planet to maintain a presence on due to its molten surface and corrosive atmosphere, Lyyrah is mined for the liquid metals that wind around the surface of the planet. The metals, once refined, are crucial for the construction of starships.
