Amites

History

The Amites were a lost race that some historians believe formed a syncretic evolution with the Dahlmite. It is believed they lost a war of planetary empires on Da-hoon tens-of-thousands of years ago. They since became the subservient species of the Dahl Empire and were used in large numbers as imperial troops of occupation.

Over the course of the Dahl Empire, the Amites became a numerous species across the worlds conquered by the Dahl. Later, when the Dahl Empire fell to the Wami Kingdom, the Amites became servants to their new masters, hardly taking notice of the new overlords.

Habitat

Having a syncretic bond with the Dahlmite's, the two species are adept and inclined to live in cool, slightly further out-ward spun worlds. With a high natural tolerance to cold and a resistance to frostbite, most Amites are keen to keep to natural Alpine worlds and Spartan diets.
