Sevrat Halun

Sevrat Halun (c. 2287–2354 NE) was a Declanian psion-scholar, philosopher, and mystic credited as the founder of the Resonant Path. His writings and empathic glyphs laid the foundation for a spiritual renaissance in the Neupert Prefecture following the collapse of the Rhyno Confederacy.

Biography

Halun was born on Tahakomolo during the final century of the Rhyno Confederacy, in the waning years of its influence. Raised in the city-vault of Barrek's Rise, he exhibited strong psionic affinity from early adolescence, particularly in deep empathic resonance and glyphic imprinting.

Following the Rew Rebellion and the Rhyno collapse, Halun joined the Declanian exodus to the Newport colony. There, disillusioned by the fractured remnants of Rhyno science, he withdrew from public life to pursue internal resonance work.

Echoes of the Lattice

Halun's life's work is contained in the five-volume psionic codex Echoes of the Lattice. The text blends meditative instruction, metaphysical speculation, and autobiographical trance impressions. Each volume is accompanied by a sequence of glyphic tablets, intended for non-verbal absorption through tactile and empathic engagement.

Philosophical Legacy

Halun rejected technocratic models of psionic evolution, advocating instead for a return to *biological coherence* and *ancestral continuity*. He believed that uplift had opened potential, but had also introduced a form of spiritual dissonance that could only be healed through neural harmonization.

Today, Halun is revered as a semi-mythic figure within Resonant circles, often referred to as the "First Echo" or the "Living Glyph."
