NPS Bailey
NPS Bailey (FF-42) is a Hanna-class frigate built for the Neupert Prefecture Navy during SY 3303. The Bailey spent many languorous years as a private transport for Vice-chancery Krinxter of the backwater sub-prefecture Tal'a Dar. Drafted into the 3rd Fleet following hostilities with the Wami Kingdom, the Bailey has finally begun to pull its weight for the Prefecture.
Private Transport
The Bailey was commissioned in SY 3303 following a brief skirmish along their border with the Rogers Republic. At that time it was decided all Chanceries, Vice-chanceries, and Staff Deputies needed armed transport. The Bailey was outfitted with an expanded living accommodations and supplemental service staff. At the conclusion of hostilities the Bailey maintained its transport duties until war broke out with the Wami Kingdom.
Prefecture 3rd Fleet
Following the start of hostilities with the Wami Kingdom, the naval college ordered a number of light screening craft to be assigned to each fleet. From across the Prefecture Hanna-class frigates were plucked from anti-piracy and transport duties to help fill out fleets and provide extra screening elements.
The Bailey has finally begun pulling its weight in its wartime role. The crew of the Bailey have been instrumental in providing accurate scouting, delaying actions, and even seizing the initiative against unprotected Wami shipping.
