The last remnants of the once great Rhyno Confederacy now cling to a new organization known as the Rhyno Commonwealth. The commonwealth was established by elements of the Rhyno government-in-exile during the war to act as a safeguard of the Rhyno culture, history, and power.
The commonwealth recognizes the independence of the Neupert Prefecture and does not include them in their restoration plans.
Size
The commonwealth, as of SY 2320, consists of three star systems. While the Commonwealth technically claims authority over the entirety of the former Rhyno Confederacy (with the exception of the Neupert), their influence is far from reaching that potential.
Every ten years, a new Commonwealth seat is elected, and that system becomes the ruling body for the net decade. As of SY 2320, Holt is the current governing seat of the Commonwealth.
★ Holt
Fleet yard and manufactory of the Confederacy, the system is covered in orbital fortresses and defensive installations. Capable of holding entire task forces at bay, Holt has become a thorn in the side of the Rogers Republic as they attempt to keep the Commonwealth expansion at bay.
Far Port
Far Port is a rural system with expansive orbital mines, massive hydroponic farms, and a simple but efficient bureaucracy. Far Port also has one of the most extensive library and data archives in the known galaxy. The people of Far Port have a massive shrine to The Fi'an on the inner-most habitual system world, Farir Prime. Their sect is known as the Fi'an Order and they take a very militaristic view of Fi'an law and order, training some of the most devoted warrior monks in the galaxy.
Two Worlds
Two Worlds is a former penal colony of the Rhyno Confederacy. After accepting entrance into the Commonwealth, a defacto organization of disgruntle citizens formed their own Republic in the goldilocks zone of the systems second binary star.
Due to Two Worlds distance from Holt and Far Point, and its proximity to the Rogers Republic, a large scale Commonwealth fleet wasn't able to step in and seize the Two Worlds Republic by force early on. This has resulted in ongoing skirmishes, missile attacks, and raiding between the two nations, with neither looking to give the Rogers Republic a reason to step in and seize the system.
As of SY 2320, the Two Star Republic signed a defensive pact with the Rogers Republic, stipulating that in the case of invasion, the Rogers Republic would come to their defense or liberation, effectively making them a protectorate of the Rogers Republic.
